Native American Youth Cultural Arts Project

The Indian Center, Inc. Youth Program received a grant from the Nebraska Arts Council and match funding from the Southeast Nebraska Native American Coalition to fund the: Native American Youth Cultural Arts (NAYCA) Project. The goal of the project is to increase engagement through cultural and traditional Native American music, dance, and contemporary arts among youth.

The NAYCA Project is designed to promote cultural values and expression through art and provide an avenue to create positive engagement of middle school/high school youth and families in the Region V community. Furthermore, the project will promote the prevention and provide an alternative to drug and alcohol activities.
